This is my favorite classic pancake recipe! I’ve perfected it over the years to get it just right. These are amazing all on their own. But they’re also an excellent base if you want to add berries or chocolate chips, etc. Breakfast food is just the best. You can eat it any time of day and these are no exception.
There are so many ways to make a great pancake, and so many different ingredient options so you’ll never get sick of eating them.
Some people like pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes, others go for blueberry banana pancakes, and I’ve even seen eggnog pancakes (which I’m eager to try!).
But sometimes you just need to take it back to basics and have a good ol’ stack of classic pancakes. That's where my favorite pancakes come in.
I’m heading up to Kananaskis for a spa day and a night at the Pomeroy hotel today, but I had to get this recipe up before I left so you could try them out this week!
Make sure you don’t over-mix your batter when you make these pancakes - it’s okay for it to have a lumpy consistency! You’ll end up with perfect pancakes that’ll keep you coming back for more. This recipe makes about 10 pancakes and I’ll be VERY proud of you if you eat all ten in one sitting by yourself.
