    Out of Ten

Lives Up to Its Claims: 10

It's instantly cooling (but mildly so, which I love), and very moisturizing. I've tried this as a short-term mask as a way to prep my skin for makeup, as well as an overnight mask, and it worked really well both ways.

    Feel: 10

It's a rich and smooth cream and the mild cooling and tingling effect on the skin really helps make you feel like you're waking your skin up. It feels luxurious when you apply it - a total treat!

    Worth the Cost: 10

This product is reasonably-priced. It will last a while - with a product so rich you don't need a ton to make it work.

    Smell: 10

I was worried it would be overly-minty, but I was pleasantly surprised at how light and fresh the scent is. It isn't flowery, which I think is a good thing, because certain flowery products really seem to cause headaches for me!

    Effectiveness: 10

Honestly, they nailed it. The ingredients in this mask do exactly what they set out to do: it effectively soothes, moisturizes, and calms. I used it in Florida after time in the sun and it felt SO GOOD!

    Packaging: 10

Yep, another ten. I love that it's in a tube instead of a jar. It's more sanitary to squeeze the product onto your hands rather than scoop it out of a jar. The ice-blue color is gorgeous, too!

    Ingredients: 10

The ingredient list is impressive and doesn't have red flags popping out at you. Lots of "natural" ingredients and no parabens, sulfates, phthalates.

    Would I Repurchase?

    Oooobviously.

What Would I Recommend Instead? N/A

    Good to know:

From Sephora.com: Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask is a rich combination of ceramides, vitamins, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory ingredients that help to combat puffy, inflamed, over-worked skin. This ultra-hydrating facial mask immediately helps to calm, cool, and soothe your complexion.

This product is free from harmful ingredients such as artificial fragrance or color, harsh surfactants, petrolatum, GMOs, triclosan, hydrogen peroxide, EDTA’s, BHT or BHA, formaldehyde, or propylene glycol. This product has not been tested on animals and there are no animal by-products in this mask, meaning this mask is vegan. There is a very small amount of peppermint oil, corn mint oil, and orange oil to give this mask a tingling effect on the skin, which naturally smells amazing, too.

    Additional Info:

    From SummerFridays.com:

Apply a visible layer on cleansed, dry skin including under-eye area. Leave for a minimum of 10 minutes. Wipe off excess with a warm cloth or towel—no need to rinse!

“We love this as an overnight mask and use it as a hydrating primer under makeup too!” XO, Marianna & Lauren
