If you ask me, there's a still a few weeks of summer left, but I know a lot of us are eager to break out the fall gear, so I'm jumping on that train, too!
I've scoped out the Nordstrom website (all 29 pages of sweaters!!!) for some of their best fall sweaters (cuz nothing says fall like a cozy sweater!) and here are my faves.
LOVE how long this is and that rusty color is so perfect for fall. It comes in a bunch of colors and it's on sale!
I've seen a ton of bloggers rocking this wrap sweater lately and I love that it's cozy but can be dressed up for a night out! Be sure to size down!
Put me in this sweater and plop me in front of a fire place with a good book, STAT!
I looove the sleeves on this sweater! And I also love that there are flecks of color through the knit so you can pair it with all sorts of different colors.
Can't get enough of this off-the-shoulder style and that beautiful oatmeal color!
This one's on the pricey side but are you kidding me with that color and that belt???
You can always count on Free People to make cozy sweaters! And this one comes in four great colors.
Well, that should be enough to get us through the first week of fall, right?

Before my trip to London, I stocked up on some travel accessories I found on Amazon to make the long trip there easier, and to help with packing, and just general convenience. I tested everything out for the nine or ten days I was there, and here are the things I loved the most!
Here I am wearing the backpack just before we started our tour of the Tower of London.
I needed a backpack to bring along, so I looked for one that had a special pocket on the backside where you can hide special items and I came across this one. It was only about $40 and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of it! It fit my laptop perfectly, and it has a middle compartment, as well as two other front sections and the secret back compartment, and two side compartments perfect for holding water bottles or umbrellas. It's waterproof which was handy in London, and it was comfortable to wear.
I grabbed one of these travel pillows with a neck support built into it, and it was a GAME CHANGER! For someone who can't sleep on flights and finds sitting upright for a long time really uncomfortable, this really helped me relax and close my eyes on the flight. They seem like they wouldn't be comfortable, but they're surprisingly really cozy and hold your neck up perfectly. This one cost about $27 and it was really light and convenient to travel with. It closes with velcro, so when I wasn't wearing it, I just wrapped it around my purse strap!
I'd heard a lot about packing cubes and how they help keep your suitcase organized and help you pack way more, so I was excited to find these pale pink travel cubes with a cactus print for only $28 on Amazon. It came with three mesh packing cubes, an underwear bag, a drawstring bag (I stored the shoes I wore to the wedding in here!), and another sizeable square bag without the mesh. The bags have two-way zippers and packing straps, and I was really happy with how much they helped the packing process. I liked that once one of the cubes was packed, you could pop it into your suitcase and not worry about your clothes coming unrolled or falling out of place. I won't travel without these now!
This cosmetic bag cost less than $10 and it's perfect for holding bigger containers like hairspray or body lotions! It has little compartments inside of it and elastic and mesh compartments to keep things of different sizes organized. It has a drawstring at the top so you can pack up quickly, and you can also fold the top over to access your items more easily. It's made of a durable nylon and it's easy to clean and pack up.
I'm sure I looked like a horse when I wore this sleeping mask, but boy, I did not care! I was too busy enjoying the pitch blackness it created! It's comfortable and adjustable, and pretty much a necessity if you plan on getting any sleep on a flight.
That's it for now! Hope these are useful to you!

Everyone wants to be comfy, cozy, and stylish when the weather cools off, and a lot of people opt for leather, fur, and wool to achieve the look they want. BUT...not only are cruelty-free options often less expensive, you also won't be wearing the skin or fur of a dead animal which is what I call a total win-win! And you can find options that give the look you want and unless people looked at the tag (which would be weird...) they wouldn't know it wasn't the real thing.
Here are my favourite cruelty-free fall fashion items, my friends. You can click on any of the pictures to shop these items.

I have the long version of this sherpa-style jacket and just picked up this version as well. Not only is it only $34.99 right now, it's on trend, and sooo warm and soft! (made of acrylic and polyester) Fits TTS. I got a size small.
A sherpa-lined moto jacket that's cruelty-free for $69.99. Nice.
I pretty much haven't taken these off since I got them. It's hard for me to find size 11 shoes, let alone cruelty-free options when so many boots tend to be suede or leather.
There's a reason everyone and their cousin is buying this chenille sweater: it's only $50, COMFY AS HELL, and I mean just look at it? (okay, that's three reasons). It comes in other colours as well and it's made of 100% polyester. It fits really loose, I got a size small. I'm going back for the navy version ASAP.
I picked up this faux-leather moto bad boy from Forever 28...oops, Forever 21, a few weeks ago and it's since gone on sale to $38.99! It's buttery soft like real leather and the tan colour is a nice alternative to black.
These are tall (they come in regular length too) faux leather leggings with a super-soft lining. Love love love! TTS. I got a size 6.
I grabbed this faux-leather skirt (with a warm and cozy lining) from Zara for my Poison Ivy Halloween costume, but I'll be wearing it all winter long! Fits loose. I got a size small.
That's all for me today, folks! Thanks for reading!

I always have about ten clothing website tabs open with carts stocked full of goodies. Lots of these items will never be mine because as much as I wish you could pay for things with happy thoughts, ya just can't. But most of these carts have graphic tees in them because I can't get enough of them. I love that you can dress them up or down, with or without jewelry, as pajamas, AND they give you a chance to express your own personality or sense of humour. OR...You can look like a fan of a band whose songs you couldn't even name one of!
Wow, I just wrote a whole paragraph about graphic tees. Let's move on to the actual good stuff, and here's a collection of the coolest graphic tees I've seen lately.

Yeehaw, babes! It's almost time for the Calgary Stampede again.
When I was a kid, it was all about the rides, then when I turned 18 it was all about the bars and the booze, and ten years later the thing I like most about the Stampede is the fashion. The food is pretty good too! 😉
This year I've rounded up a bunch of pieces including footwear, apparel, and jewelry to cover all your stampede styles needs, and included local businesses because after all, it is a local event!
PIKA & BEAR Costa Double Buckle Belt from 27 Boutique. I've been searching all over for the perfect double buckle belt made with vegan leather, and 27 Boutique nailed it with this pick!
TISHjewelry is a local jewelry biz with totally unique and beautiful pieces. This necklace is one of my personal faves, and while it's great for any time of year, it would be a gorgeous addition to a Stampede outfit.
WHITE CROW Cowboys Are My Weakness Tee. Another pick from 27 Boutique, this tee has Stampede style written all over it! It could be paired with jeans or a denim skirt or shorts, and how great does it look with gold jewelry?!
Another gorgeous TISHjewelry piece.
A distressed denim mini to go with just about anything all summer long!
Western-style buckles and feel without having to break in a pair of boots!
I picture this romper with brown or black cowboy boots! Ahhh!!!
If you don't want to invest in a traditional pair of cowboy boots, these Western-inspired booties are a good alternative.
K, this top is perfect for the Stampede but I am kind of obsessed with this model and her whole outfit in general!
If you work in an office but have the option to dress up for Stampede, a dress like this is a super versatile option that you'll get a lot of use out of!

What's YOUR favorite part of Stampede? Or is it all too much for you? I've had years like that...

Just when you think they've done all they can do with denim, the Denim Gods pull a new trend out of the pocket of their mom jeans and surprise you with a new way to rock your jeans. The latest denim trend is raw hem/raw edge/step hem and personally, I am all about it! Everybody and their cousin has introduced their version of the trend, and today I'm sharing my favorite raw hem options for spring.
(Click on the name of the jeans to shop them. None of these are affiliate links! xo)
ZARA Mid-Rise Boyfriend Jeans 1. Love the light wash of these jeans and the dramatically frayed edges! Perfect spring jeans.
TOPSHOP Tall Tonal Embroidered Jeans 2. These TopShop cuties combine two spring denim trends: a raw hem and embroidery. TopShop is known for being adventurous with their denim (ahem, the jeans with the see-through knees!) but this is one of their more wearable versions of the embroidery/raw hem trend.
FRAME Step Hem High Waisted Skinny Jeans 3. Another trendy pair of light washed jeans (I love the black pair too!) with a step hem perfect for showing off a great pair of shoes or a fresh pedicure.
ASOS TALL Kimmi Shrunken Boyfriend Jeans With Let Down Hem in Mid Wash Blue 4. This is another pair of tall jeans cuz I gotta stay true to what I wear, but ASOS has all different versions of these jeans! And they're on mega sale* right now. This is an incredibly wearable version of the trend in a darker and very flattering wash. *ASOS shopping tip: if you're ordering to Canada, team up with someone else who wants to make an order so you can split the duty costs.
Blank NYC Skinny Classique Medium Wash Distressed Skinny Jeans 5. I love the slightly different take on the raw hem and the darker patch of fabric below the first hem. These jeans have a slightly worn in look but could easily be dressed up or down!
Audrey Medium Wash Distressed Ankle Skinny Jeans 6. The diagonal hem on these jeans is so cool and I'd be lying if I said the yellow shoes didn't make the whole look way cooler to me!
That's it for me for today, folks! Please share your spring denim picks down below, because I can always use more enablers for my online shopping habit!
