Everything Bagel Cottage Cheese Snack

I'm all about fast, easy, (and of course, delicious) lunches during the week. I also try really hard to focus on protein, and cottage cheese is one of my favourite ways to knock all of these off! Lately, my go-to cottage cheese snack or light lunch has been the Everything Bagel cottage cheese recipe I'm going to share with you today.

I usually serve it on crackers, but it's also delicious on toast, rice cakes, or even just eating with a spoon! The best part is? It takes about 30 seconds to make and you only need a few ingredients to get the job done.

It ain't pretty, but it sure tastes good!

Ingredients

Here's what you'll need:

  • Cottage cheese (I usually use 1%)
  • Fresh green onions
  • Everything But the Bagel Seasoning (My favorite is the Trader Joe's variety)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: crackers, rice cakes, or toast to serve it on

Everything Bagel Cottage Cheese Snack

This cottage cheese snack is made with Everything but the Bagel Seasoning, green onion, salt and pepper, and makes the perfect pairing with crackers for a light, high protein lunch.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • green onions fresh, diced or chopped
  • Everything but the Bagel Seasoning to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Taste test and adjust seasonings to your preference.
  • Serve with crackers, toast, or eat it right out of the bowl with a spoon.
